We are a zero-expense thrift store located at UC Davis dedicated to sustainability and providing affordable items to students. Our goal is to provide a welcoming and informative environment for everyone, so please don’t hesitate to reach out if you can’t find the information you’re looking for! 

  • What is Aggie Reuse?
  • Aggie Reuse is a zero-expense thrift store. Our inventory consists of donated items such as clothing, school supplies, small appliances, and other treasures donated by UC Davis students and community members! 
  • How do I donate items?
  • Come in during hours with a plastic bag and we'll search it! Check out our Donations page for details on what we accept and what we don't.
  • What times are you open?
  • We're open 10 AM - 5 PM Monday through Friday! We're closed weekends and school holidays. Check our Hours page for special hours during holidays.
  • Where can I find the store?
  • We are located at MU 154 which is on the Memorial Union's first floor! You can find us directly next to Information Desk! 
  • How can I get involved?
  • Join as a volunteer whenever! Shoot us an email about your interest and capacity to participate and we’ll get you in. Our seven paid lead positions open at the end of spring for the next academic year.

  • What is this? Why is everything free?

  • Everything you see displayed is a donation from somebody in the community! These are all pre-loved goods that have some life left in them. We have the privilege of connecting areas of excess with areas of need, in a central on-campus location.

     

    We are an ASUCD unit, meaning that we receive funding from the school to support our goal of providing a meaningful service for students. Our budget goes toward paying staff, purchasing equipment, and volunteer incentives-- none spent on inventory!

  • How does this work? 
  • Take what you need! No pressure to ‘swap’ items you have in order to take something, but feel free to come back someday with donations (see our donation poster for details). All items are free! Please check in at the desk before leaving. Take your time and be mindful :)
  • Where does inventory come from?
  • All donated by community members, mostly students! We don’t have the means to disinfect or wash items ourselves, but do sort through and reject donations that don’t meet cleanliness standards. We encourage you to clean items yourself, just as you do after visiting any other thrift store!
